Coinciding with the current “EQUINOX” phenomenon occurring in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore where temperatures are expected to increase by 40°C for the next 2 weeks. A high school student, as well as a passionate young writer, and also the 1st winner of the Japanese language competition in Sejadobetak and Banten, representing Al-Azhar BSD School, Maulana Ahzarafie Apriyuda launched his first novel entitled “EQUINOX” in Jakarta, Thursday (03/21/2024).
The novel “EQUINOX” by Maulana, who once represented Indonesia at the Asia Youth International Model United Nations, is written in 3 languages, Indonesian, English and Japanese. The novel “EQUINOX” is not just an ordinary work, but a real proof of the author’s dedication and creativity in exploring a compelling story.
The novel “EQUINOX” presents a story that captivates the reader’s imagination. In this story, Maulana invites readers to explore the passages to an imaginative dimension full of mystery and magic. From a floating island inhabited by primitive humans with magical skills, to a modern city that relies on steam power, and a kingdom surrounded by high walls, they all exist in the same dimension.
In this epic journey of adventure, readers will follow Slava, a teenager thrown into a strange dimension with all the surprises that come his way. This story is not only entertaining, but also awakens the imagination and challenges readers to continue exploring the fantasy world presented by Maulana.
At the novel launch event, Maulana’s mother, Devi E.R. S.E., MB. Ph.D., as CEO of SHI Group, also congratulated Maulana on his success in creating extraordinary works. She hopes that this novel can be an inspiration for Indonesia’s young generation to continue their enthusiasm for work.
Asma Nadia, a well-known writer and film producer, also appreciated Maulana’s work. For him, reading the novel “Equinox New Down” feels like entering another world full of captivating story details. Each chapter in this novel is praised for the author’s ability to describe a complex fantasy world but still interesting to follow.
Not to be left behind, Yurizal Santoso, General Manager of Litera Mediatama, also praised Maulana’s debut work. For him, this novel is a fantasy journey at its best. He enjoyed every chapter that was filled with surprises, and appreciated the author’s imagination that flowed and made every scene more exciting.
Positive feedback also came from Farsha Bila, a well-known novelist, who felt that reading “EQUINOX New Down” was like a journey into an interesting and entertaining fairy tale.
With the various praise and appreciation received, there is no doubt that the novel “EQUINOX New Down” is a work that deserves a thumbs up. Maulana Ahzarafie Apriyuda has succeeded in creating a work that captivates readers from all walks of life, and inspires other young writers to continue working and exploring unexplored fantasy worlds.
